This film was taken from inside a Mumbles Train during the 1950's. The St. Helen's rugby and cricket ground can be seen on the left. You will notice that the film is rather unsteady. This indicates why the Mumbles Train was sometimes called the 'Rocking, Rolling Train'.

The signalling system of the Mumbles Railway can be seen quite clearly at this point of the route.
