As part of the KidSmart project all schools were provided with Edmark software supplied by Riverdeep.

KidDesk Family Addition
KidDesk software provided the controlled desktop with links to the five programs:

• Bailey’s Book House
• Sammy’s Science House
• Millie’s Math House
• Trudy’s Time and Place
• Thinkin' Things

Textease Studio+
This was used extensively to create talking books, linked interactive screen activities use digital camera images of the children and activities undertaken and to create classroom resources.

Tizzy’s First Tools
The seven programs within Tizzy provided opportunity for a wide variety of cross curricula activities which could be set at an appropriate level for the pupils. Present is a brilliantly simple way to make electronic books that can be very effectively displayed on a Whiteboard.

Splosh
A drawing package for young children which allows the combination of freehand lines, shapes and text to be used together to make pictures.

Clicker
This is a very flexible talking word processor. On screen grids can be created to help pupils extend their reading and writing ability.
