How Do I Download Word Documents and Other Files from the Web?

  1. Right-click (ie. click the right-hand mouse button) on title of the document or file you wish to download.
  2. A pop-up menu will appear. If your browser is Internet Explorer, select "Save Target As...". If you are using Netscape Navigator, then select "Save Link As..." from the pop-up menu.
  3. A dialog box will then appear, allowing you to store the file into any folder on your computer.
  4. Once saved, you can now open the document and print or edit it as if it had been created on your own computer.
