The area around the old Rutland Street Terminus has been completely redeveloped. New roads, car parks, garages and a leisure centre have replaced old terraced houses, railway lines and the Victoria Station.

The images above display two different views of the area around the old Rutland Street Terminus. The picture on the left looks down the route the Mumbles Train took on its way to the Mumbles Pier Station.

The video shows a Mumbles Train travelling from the Rutland Street terminus towards the pedestrian footbridge at Swansea Bay. Listen carefully to the commentary. Make a note of the changes that have ocurred in this area of Swansea. What landmarks have remained?
