These pictures
show the area between Blackpill and Oystermouth. This part of the route
is now popular with walkers, joggers and cyclists.
The two
pictures show the Mumbles Train arriving at the West Cross and Norton
Road stations. These stations were intermediate halts between the Blackpill
and Oystermouth stations. At West Cross there was a passing loop which
allowed the trains to pass. From West Cross to the terminus at the Mumbles
Pier, the track followed the coast line, offering passengers superb
views across the bay.
