Tourists are attracted to this locality, especially during the summer months. The site of the old Oystermouth Station is situated in the centre of the photograph.

Compare the two photographs below of Oystermouth Station. The picture on the left shows Oystermouth in the 1950's. The picture on the right was taken in July 1995. Notice the posts in front of the cabin. These supported the cables that carried the electricity needed to run the trains. What changes have taken place?
