In this activity, you are going to compose melodies with some of
the rhythm patterns you used in the previous activity. If you haven't
tried Activities 1 and 2 yet, now would be a good time to do so. The
first exercise will use the 'Jagged Tune' you created in Activity 1:
Using the rhythm patterns from Activity 2, you can remove some of
the notes (drag them back onto the toolbar) and replace them with the
rhythm patterns:
Can you see which notes have been changed? What rhythm patterns
have been used in this tune? Try using different rhythm patterns and
decide which set you prefer. Make sure to save your tune at the end.
