This tutti section (bars 38 to 43) comprises of the fanfare like figures played alternatively by each Coro. The music moves through a cycle of 5ths from bar 37: D to G, G to C, C to F and finally F to Bb at bar 43.

From bar 45, the Choirs play antiphonal (echoing) phrases which gradually become shorter. This leads to the next tutti section.
