Sonata Pian' e Forte

Analysis

The final tutti section of the work (from bar 71) recalls the descending scalic passage heard earlier. This time, however, the original quaver movement is replaced by dotted quaver/semiquaver figures and is more complex in nature. This leads to a triumphant chordal passage ending with an imperfect cadence in G major.
