These pages are designed to encourage pupils to make use of Information Communications Technology (ICT) in English. The tasks will require pupils to engage in various purposeful and authentic speaking and listening, reading and writing activities, any or all of which can be accomplished without the use of Information Technology (IT). However, the advantages of using IT should be so obvious as to encourage pupils (and teachers) to want to make use of it. It is when IT is used to enhance and improve experiences in English that it will be seen as beneficial, rather than just something else that has to be done.
