Re: Riverside Waste Ground - Proposed Development

The ground in question is a (now filled in) waste pit of a former chemical works. Any development would need to take account of the fact that it is likely that the ground may contain traces of noxious chemicals. This would be a hazard to the developers and future users of the site.

Whichever option you decide on, I advise you that the land needs first to be made safe. In the short term, steps should be taken to ensure that members of the public do not have access to the site.
