We need more spaces to park our cars. Mrs. M Cedar Road |
What about somewhere safe for children
to play? River View |
Yes, we need car parks, but they must be safe. I wouldn't dream of leaving my car on the new site with all the vandals living on the housing estate. Motorist Uplands Drive |
We're always getting the blame for causing trouble. If we had somewhere safe to go with proper facilities then everyone would be happier. What about a snooker hall? Barry (16) |
I am a single parent with three young children, all under the age of four. Everytime I want to go to the shops, I have to cross the nightmare busy link road. Why not put more shops on the site? Concerned mother |
What we want is jobs. Why can't they use the land for industry? Gerry. Unemployed |
There is nowhere safe for young children to play. Why not create an adventure playground? This would be cheap and help to keep children off the streets. Primary Headteacher |
Sheltered housing for the elderly would be a good idea. Where they live now is a disgrace. P. Salmon |
Make the area safe by all means, but why waste public money on that housing estate? Anything built will be vandalised anyway. Anon. |
What we need is a Scout and Guides meeting hall to replace the one that burnt down. This would provide youngsters with a place to go where they could learn proper values and be supervised. D. Winford |
