Following recent discussions about the development of waste ground at Riverside, I outline several options available. As yet, costings are not available but I would be happy to explore this if you would indicate which are the preferred options.

Option 1) Car Park to serve Riverside Housing Estate, relieving congestion on residential streets.

Option 2) Recreational facilities to serve various groups from the housing estate, especially youth.

Option 3) Industrial units, for which grants may be available and to link with existing units west of the river.

Option 4) Large hypermarket style retail outlet using monies from the private sector.

Option 5) Sheltered housing to supplement existing retirement home which is in desperate need of updating and renovating.
