The activity was planned
to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding required to:
- Insert images into Text
- Edit images and text
- Save, retrieve and amend work.
Eight S.E.N pupils were taught as a group but a great deal of individual
teaching and over learning occurred. The tasks were broken
down into finely graded "steps" and only when pupils were
confident at each step did they progress to the next. A set of carefully
graded work cards carrying clear instructions was kept "at
hand" for the pupils' use and support. The work cards enabled
the pupil to feel independent and successful. They reduced the need
of the pupil to ask the teacher for help. The outcome was a series
of posters designed and produced for specific purposes by the pupil.
