Aim:
To provide children with the opportunities to develop their word processing  skills including:

  • editing text and images
  • inserting graphics into text
  • using effects
  • considering the audience and layout of work
  • save, retrieve and edit  work.

The Teacher will work on a one to one basis with a special needs pupil.


Session 1
Introduction to Textease using pre-prepared work cards.


Session 2
Using work cards, use Textease to write a simple letter of thanks for a visit.
(Enlarge screen, choose text, font style/colour/size. Drop in images, save work)


Session 3
Design a poster encouraging children to contribute to
Mozambique Appeal.
(As above, plus framing and shadowing text)


Session 4
Use all skills learnt to design and produce a poster advertising a film.
