Introduction The aim of the project was to produce a comprehensive resource consisting of captioned photographs linked to a map of river. Originally Developed in PowerPoint, the resource includes digital images and fieldwork data collected on a visit to the stream. The resource is primarily to support the Rivers topic in KS3 National Curriculum Specification. However, the presentation can also be used at KS4 for GCSE and AS/A level Geography. The images were chosen to represent the river from its source to its mouth and measurements and photographs were taken at the following locations: Gelli Hir 562929 Cartersford 551914 Ilston Quarry 555906 Gower Inn 550981 Confluence 543891 Pennard Pill 543884 Resources: riverstudy.pdf (right click to download) Contributors: David Bawden Birchgrove Phil Critchley Bishopston |
