Broadwalk...
Provides a link between the Orangery gardens, the castle and the park
beyond access is uphill via numerous steps or steep paths which can
deter visitors and many chose to remain within the Orangery gardens.
Paths within the gardens are to be improved also access for wheelchairs
and buggies to the castle and its attractions .
Evidence shows that visitors are often reluctant to walk more than 500
metres from the car. This means many will not visit the castle, and
outbuildings Where Charlotte’s pantry and the shop are additional
source of income.
