When the Task has been Completed...

Consider the following:

  • would the activity have been more profitable to pupils if the tasks been carried out in a different way?
  • did the use of the software support the Early Years curriculum?
  • were the tasks appropriate and sufficiently challenging?
  • did the children enjoy the activities and stay on task?
  • were pupils able to use the software?
  • were pupils given opportunities to explore a variety of activities such as shape, patterns and number?
  • are pupils acquiring expected and necessary skills?
  • was there continuity and progression?
  • how suitable were the pupil groupings?
  • is there need for reinforcement or consolidation?
  • what, if anything, would you change before using the software again?
  • did the questioning of pupils during the task inform you and focus the pupils?
  • has your use of the topic been influenced by ICT?
  • were teaching and learning objectives met?
  • how will assessment be used to inform future planning?
