To create a linked document.
Choose two Gods/Goddesses and use Textease to make a separate
document for each.
Each document should contain important information relating
to the chosen deity .
The writing should be contained within text frames that have
been linked to create text flows.
There must also be images selected from the previously book
marked web sites.
Design a cover for the linked document.
Design an e-mail attachment in the form of an invitation and
send it to another computer.
This task is to be differentiated.
Two activity cards have been drawn up which will allow each member
of the class to achieve success.
Observation and discussion will allow children to move between the
activities as necessary. |

Book marked web sites.
Activity sheets, (located in computer file adjacent to
each computer).
Textease guide, (located in computer file, for reference).
Prepared e-mail, (for demonstration of attachment).

Two
children seated at each computer. (Due to the location of the two computers this allows
extra discussion to take place).
Quickly revise familiar elements
of Textease, (more time
will be needed if elements are not sound).
Introduce new concepts such
as:
Text frames, text flows, (when creating their documents).
Preparing to link pages
(discuss need to isolate
images and/or words when drawing up the title page in readiness
for linking).
Link pages.
How to send an attachment.
As children complete the
activity they then become consultants to their peers.
