Saving
As
with all Windows packages, you can save your work to open it later
(in other words, recording the work you are doing, then playing
it back later). Your work can either be saved onto floppy disk
or onto any folder on your computer in the following manner:
- Go
to the File menu and select Save As. In the File Name box, type
your filename eg. Demo1.
- Change
the Save In box to either the A: drive to save onto floppy disk,
or to your personal network folder if you wish to save it to
the hard disk.
- Name
your file using a meaningful name.
- Click
Save.
Save
every five minutes or so to ensure that you don't lose any work
should the computer develop a fault, crash or experience a power
failure. As the slide show develops, do not forget to save to
different filenames as you proceed, for example 'Sales 2' and
'Sales 3' .Therefore, if for any reason, one version is accidentally
overwritten then there will be an alternative copy that is reasonably
up-to-date.
