Viewing
Slide Shows
A
slide show can be viewed in several aspects. On the bottom left
of the status bar are the PowerPoint view buttons as illustrated
at twice their original size below. In PowerPoint, place your
cursor on each in turn for its name to be displayed in a yellow
'ToolTip' box. These are the view options:
-
Outline
- Displays
the title and main topics in the form of an outline. Use this
for editing text throughout the presentation.
- Slide
View
- Displays
an overview of the presentation. The order of the slides can
be changed in this view.
- Slide
Sorter
- Displays
a miniature version of each slide in its order of appearance.
- Slide
Show
- Displays
the actual slide show with animations etc, using the whole screen.
The show starts on the selected slide, and each slide can be
viewed by clicking the left mouse button or by pressing the
Space Bar on the keyboard. Press the Esc key to leave the show.
