and Pasting Files from Web Pages
Copying
Text
- Highlight
the text you wish to copy by holding down the left mouse button
and dragging the mouse across the text.
- Place
your mouse cursor anywhere within the highlighted block of text
and click the right mouse button.
- On
the pop-up menu that appears, select Copy.
- Open
your word-processing program.
- Place
your cursor within the document where you wish the copied text
to be pasted.
- From
the Edit menu, select Paste or click the Paste icon on the Toolbar
of your word processing program.
- The
copied text will be pasted into the document.
Copying
Images
- Click
the right mouse button on the image you wish to copy
from a web page.
- From
the pop-up menu that appears, select Copy.
- Open
your word-processing program.
- Place
your cursor within the document where you wish the copied image
to be pasted.
- From
the Edit menu, select Paste or click the Paste icon on the Toolbar
of your word processing program.
- The
copied image will be pasted into the document.
Saving an Image from a Web Page
- Click
the right mouse button on the image you wish to save
from a web page.
- From
the pop-up menu that appears, select Save Picture As...
- The
Save As dialog box will open, allowing you to save the image
to any folder or drive on your computer.
