Enhancing Teaching and Learning Using ICT in the Foundation Phase

This one day course will explore how ICT skills can be developed across the areas of learning in the Foundation phase.

ICT can be used in a variety of ways in the Foundation phase to support and develop pupils' learning. This course will explore the wide range of facilities that can be used to develop teaching and learning activities across the curriculum.

Course Objectives:

• Plan appropriate activities to support the development of ICT skills
• Identify opportunities for progression and assessment
• Highlight examples of good practice in integrating ICT in the areas of learning
