Accreditation and Certification
All teachers in the programme will be offered the opportunity to have their development accredited by the most appropriate agency of accreditation. For some this will be accreditation of ICT skills development through structures such as the Cambridge IT certificate, the JEB qualification or the NVQ framework. Other accreditation systems are being investigated by partnership members.

Costs and Addition of Value
Costs of accreditation will be met by the partnership where added value can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the appropriate funding regime, which will act in turn as a source of funding for the extra work undertaken in providing accreditation.

Progression to other programmes and CAT schemes and APEL in further and higher qualifications will be discussed as a matter of course with teachers.

Specific modules are being designed for University of Wales Diploma and Masters level qualifications to which the programme will contribute.

Additional Equipment and Access to Additional Features
All teachers undertaking accredited work will be given access to equipment and facilities at the partners' sites across the locality. The partnership will liaise with the Local Authorities in their roll-out of the National Grid for Learning to ensure access to appropriate technology throughout the programme.
