Training in and out of School

Training will take place in the teacher's school, with opportunities for training provided in flexible centres in the locality and in schools in the teacher's local area.

The introduction to the programme will be undertaken on a group basis at one of the local centres.

The planning phase will be undertaken in the school unless the teacher specifically requests otherwise.

The training phases will take place almost entirely in the school, including task setting and task execution, application and monitoring of application.

The evaluation phase can take place in the school, but should bring together teachers from a number of schools.

The assessment and feedback phase will take place in the school, and will merge into the introduction to the next module
