When the Task has been Completed...

Consider the following:

  • would the activity have been more profitable to pupils had the task been carried out in a more traditional way?
  • were the teaching and learning objectives met?
  • did using the computer enhance the learning opportunities of the pupils?
  • how will your assessment be used to inform future planning?
  • did the use of ICT support the subject area?
  • were the tasks appropriate and sufficiently challenging?
  • did the children enjoy the activities and stay on task?
  • are pupils acquiring expected and necessary skills in both the subject supported and ICT?
  • are pupils acquiring expected and necessary Key Skills?
  • was there continuity and progression?
  • were pupils able to save, retrieve and edit work?
  • were the pupil groups suitable?
  • did the questioning of pupils during the task inform you and focus the pupils?
  • did you or the pupils gain anything by using the computer?
  • has your use of the topic been influenced by ICT?
  • what, if anything, would you change before using a word processor again?
