of Training in Detail
All
teachers will undergo a Training Needs Analysis to identify current
skills and knowledge
The Training Needs Analysis will be undertaken in line with current
work being done under contract to TTA. Although details are not
available at the time of writing, it is envisaged that the Training
Needs Analysis will account for the teacher's skills and knowledge
in relation to the outcomes, and that gaps in skills and knowledge
will be thrown up by the execution of the Analysis. These gaps,
along with the stated intentions of the teacher and the objectives
of the school and LEA, will form the basis of the Action Plan.
All
teachers will negotiate an action plan related to the outcomes
specified in the submission guidelines
The form of the Action Plan will be the same across all subjects
and phases. At the same time, it is theoretically possible that
all Action Plans will be different in respect of outcome combination,
start date, duration, mode of work and other factors.

teachers will end the process of training with such elements as
are deemed relevant in their Action Plan
Some teachers will need to meet all elements for the first time,
and will therefore work on all modules through a variety of tasks
and forms of work. Others will select only a number of elements
in a limited combination of modules.
