Accounting
for Teachers' Priorities
The
initial phase of training needs analysis and action planning will
take account of the priorities of teachers, schools and local
authorities.
The
Action Plan shown in Outcomes of Training will take account of
the following:
- The
teacher's identified competences - subject to ratification by
the tutor
- The
teacher's stated needs depending on phase, subject and individual
factors
- The
school's stated objectives, ratified by the Headteacher
- The
local authorities' strategic statements of objective, as passed
from the steering group through the management structure
The Action Plan will be subject to review by the teacher and the
tutor, but also to quality assessment as a key document and to
discussion with the Headteacher on a sample basis.
