The tasks below will enable you to make a judgement about the activity level you wish to support with your training.

Novice Intermediate Advanced


Novice Task:

Decide on the focus for the activity and the desired learning outcomes.

Decide on the adventure or simulation to be used in relation to the current theme or topic.

Assess the adventure or simulation in relation to the ages and abilities of the pupils.

Prepare focused task sheets for pupils to use.

Prepare recording sheets for pupils to use.

Introduce the chosen adventure or simulation to the pupils, explaining clearly the overall aim and objectives of the package.

Provide opportunities for pupils to use a chosen adventure or simulation that supports the current theme or topic.
