When the Task has been Completed...

Consider the following:

  • would the activity have been more profitable if the tasks had been carried out in a more traditional way?
  • did the Control project enhance the chosen subject areas?
  • was the equipment and software adequately set up?
  • did the activity enable pupils to keep on task?
  • were pupils able to use direct output commands effectively?
  • were pupils able create procedures and use repeat commands effectively?
  • were pupils able to save, retrieve and edit work?
  • were pupils able to investigate procedures effectively?
  • were pupil IT skills developed sufficiently?
  • did pupils acquire the expected and necessary Key Skills in ICT and the subject areas?
  • is the pupils' knowledge of the subjects enhanced by the use of Control?
  • was there continuity and progression?
  • how suitable were the pupil groupings?
  • is there need for reinforcement or consolidation?
  • what would you change the next time you use Control?
  • did the questioning of pupils help you and focus the pupils?
  • were teaching and learning objectives met?
  • how will this inform your future planning?
