When the Task has been Completed...

Consider the following:

  • would the activity have been more profitable to pupils had the tasks been carried out in a more traditional way?
  • did the spreadsheet support the topic?
  • was the spreadsheet adequately set up?
  • did the activity enable pupils to keep on task?
  • were suitable columns converted into graph/charts?
  • were pupils able to save graphs as images and insert them into a word processor?
  • are pupils acquiring expected and necessary skills in both the subject supported and ICT?
  • is there continuity and progression?
  • how suitable were the pupil groupings?
  • is there need for reinforcement or consolidation?
  • what would you change the next time you use a spreadsheet in class activities?
  • did the questioning of the pupils on task help you and focus the pupils?
  • is the pupils' knowledge of the subject enhanced by the use of the computer?
  • has your use of spreadsheets been influenced by ICT?
  • were teaching and learning objectives met?
  • how will this inform your future planning?
